Description: Prerequisite: JA 200, Junior standing or consent of instructor. Various forms of personal violence such as spouse abuse, child physical and sexual abuse, abuse of the elderly, rape, criminal assaults and battery, abuse in the workplace, and other forms of abuse will be discussed. Special emphasis directed toward the role of the criminal justice system.
