Description: Prerequisite: EM 570. Provides an introduction to marketing principles and techniques with an emphasis on technical product development, pricing, promotion and distribution strategies. It stresses the role the engineers play in the product marketing plan of an organization, as well as methods for forecasting technology and measuring marketing decisions. It includes a unit on marketing aspects of engineering entrepreneurship.
