Description: Prerequisite: SPAN 121 or equivalent. A continuation of SPAN 121 with a focus on the fundamental elements of the Spanish language within a cultural context. Emphasis is on the progressive development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond with increasing proficiency to spoken and written Spanish and should be able to demonstrate further cultural awareness.
